Proclaim Academy was
started as a tutorial service in 2002, while the founder was
a teacher in a public school system. In January 2004
Proclaim Christian Academy (PCA) opened as a private school
for Kindergarten to 5th. Proclaim Academy was accredited
fully in 2008 by the Georgia Accrediting Commission
for grades K- 8th and accredited with Quality in 2011
PCA uses A Beka as the
core curriculum, with supplements from several sources,
including Bob Jones, McGraw Hill, Harcourt Brace and
Houghton Mifflin. The reading program is built on a
foundation of phonetic awareness.
French, performing and visual arts, Bible study, gardening
serve to enrich the academic program for the students of
Proclaim Academy
The Stanford national standardized tests are
administered in the spring. Entering students are assessed
formally and informally to determine the appropriate level
in the academic program.
Students wear uniforms daily and adhere to standards of
positive behavior, etiquette, and high expectations.
The learning environment is student centered, inter–active
and exploratory. The small personalized setting allows
student to move at his or her own pace for acceleration or
remediation.
Students study Native American and African American history
and culture in addition to conventional history. The
students research, write reports, present orally and share
facts in Science and Social Studies.


Science is taught experientially with field trips and
interaction with nature.
